The good folks who run the weekly Back Room Politics podcast invited me on Wednesday to talk about the fiscal cliff with them. You can listen here.
The podcast is conducted at Shelly's Back Room, a cigar bar located in downtown DC. It's a perfect location for such a podcast and I had a great time doing it (even though the audio is a bit compromised).
Hat tip to the Club's Alyssa Bonk for setting up this interview.

"Democrats react significantly more positively to the term 'federal government' than they do to the term 'capitalism,' while the opposite is true for Republicans. But both Democrats and Republicans are highly positive about the terms 'small business,' 'free enterprise,' and 'entrepreneurs.' Republicans and Republican-leaning independents and Democrats and Democratic leaners also differ in how they react to the terms 'big business' and 'socialism.' Republicans are more positive about the former; Democrats are more positive about the latter."
