This is a great idea, and it sounds like it's part of a future project that will be revealed in Econ Journal Watch, a publication devoted to providing oversight, if you will, to the field of economics.
And I might add that included in Klein's list is the 2007 petition sponsored by the Club for Growth for which 1,028 economists announced their opposition to protectionist policies against China. It was a fun project to be a part of, and I'm proud that we were able to bring such a large number of economists together to fight against bad trade policy.
